FamilyZip is seeking a part time tip writer / blogger to write useful tips & ideas for families.
This part-time position is a great way to work on your own time whenever you want, make a little money, and gain some exposure as a writer if you so desire.
Family-friendly Tips can cover a variety of topics including great recipes, places to visit, playgrounds, household timesavers, family games, product reviews, gardening ideas, etc. Tips should be at least 300 words.
Compensation:

I recently opened a new website for the San Diego Area which is basically a directory site. It offers all types of info for the San Diego area. However there is the other side! if you dont get any spots then your day was a wash! please be clear on that. now with that being said here is how you get paid!
spots on the website go for anywhere from 50 dollars to 500 dollars. for every spot you sell to someone I will pay you 50% of the profits! so, in theory if you sell a 300 dollar spot you will make 150 dollars! and the bonus is if you sell more than a thousand dollars in a week I will give you 60%!!! so for every thousand you sell i will pay you 600 dollars! sell 5000 dollars worth and you will make 3000!!! like I said. JOB SUMMARY: The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego (MCASD) is currently seeking a qualified security professionals to function as a Security Services Representative (SSR) assigned to the Downtown and/or La Jolla sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
▪ Responsible for performing interior patrols of museum galleries
▪ Ensure museum visitors adhere to company policy to preserve the collection and prevent theft or damage.
▪ Ensure that daily security reports are preformed properly
▪ Impart knowledge of museum exhibits, events, and of the surrounding area to patrons
▪ Respond to any emergency events (e.g. medical emergencies, natural disasters, etc.)
▪ Additional duties may include exterior facility patrols, vehicle escort after hours, and general museum opening/closing procedures
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
▪ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational skills, and planning ability
▪ Excellent customer service skills; maintain professional demeanor in challenging, dynamic environment
▪ Ability to perform crowd control by providing clear guidance and direction
▪ Must be detail oriented and have the ability to work with minimal supervision
▪ MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point) preferred
▪ CPR/FA/AED Certification is preferred, but training will be provided
▪ Must have a flexible schedule
▪ Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs/stoop/kneel in order to perform security duties
▪ High School Diploma (or Equivalent), some college course work preferred
▪ Prior museum/art related experience a plus, but not required
▪ Minimum of 1 year prior security related work experience preferred. Bilingual a plus.

Property Manager/Community Director (Downtown)
The Tom Hom Group, LLC is committed to providing residents with a safe and clean place to live in our SRO+ properties throughout the country. We have properties in San Diego, CA; Las Vegas, NV; Memphis, TN; and Phoenix, AZ.
Trolley Court, one of our San Diego properties is a 186 unit SRO located on the line of San Diego's renowned light rail mass transit system. Within walking distance of the Gaslamp Quarter and Horton Plaza, downtown's regional mall, Trolley provides convenient and affordable housing in the heart of San Diego.
We have an immediate opening for a Property Manager/Community Director who will have the following responsibilities:
Provide for the security and safety of the residents and staff.
Identify, interview and train new hires for the property.
Market and lease the property to maintain high occupancy.
Review daily logs and reports to assure consistency of customer service and to account for all monies.
Oversee leasing functions and review each completed lease folder for LIHTC compliance, tenant standards and paperwork completeness.
Direct lead maintenance persons daily activities.
Direct lead housekeepers daily activities.
Create and submit annual budget, and weekly and monthly reports to manager.
Resolve resident complaints and cover front desk when needed.
Oversee all performance reviews of property staff.
Monitor and guide staff of 11 customer service representatives, maintenance technicians and housekeepers.
The ideal candidate should have:
A minimum of three-five years related experience in an SRO, Hotel/Motel, or apartment management.
Knowledge of LIHTC tax credit rules and Section 42 regulations a huge plus.
At least two years experience successfully managing a team of employees.
Desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Ability and desire to juggle multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent computer skills, AMSI preferred.
